The Food Collection Basket for the Bastrop Food Pantry is at the entrance of the church. Items needed are canned meats, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cornbread mix, juices, Hamburger Helper, crackers, rice, peanut butter, jelly. dry beans, sugar, cereal (hot or cold), instant potatoes, flour, pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned beans, soups, hygiene items (toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergent, toilet paper), tomato sauces, and cooking oil.
