FORMED is a website and mobile app resource that features Catholic programming, movies, eBooks, catechesis tools, sacramental prep, bible studies, and much more. With FORMED you can explore your faith anywhere.
FORMED has been described as "Netflix for Catholics". But it is much, much more.
It is very easy to get started. Simple go to:
- Go to https://formed.org/
- Once on the site, click Sign Up, then Sign up as a parishioner.
- Where it says "Find your Parish or Organization", enter the zip code "78602" or "Sacred Heart Bastrop" (has to be Bastrop because that is the mailing address). You should see our parish there. Click it, then click Next.
- In the next form enter your name and email address. Then click Sign Up.
That's all you have to do. You may be asked to verify your identity with your email, but that's it. No user name or password required!
Note, if you come to a page that asks for a credit card, you made a wrong turn along the way. Thanks to a generous gift from several parishioners at Sacred Heart Rockne and St. Mary's String Prairie, this incredible resource is now available to every member of our church family completely free of charge!
